The latest on John
I talked to my Mom this morning and the doctors were able to put the port in that will release the chemo into John. John will start radiation hopefully today and will have it everyday for the next 5 weeks. He will have the chemo treatments at least once a week for the next 5 weeks also. The doctors have staged the cancer at a level 3 because it did spread to the lifnodes. But thankfully, it hasn't spread to any organs and hopefully by starting the radiation & chemo now, it will prevent it from spreading. He will probably have the surgery to remove the tumor in Houston because one of the top 5 cancer hospitals is there and the hospital where they live isn't equipped for this kind of surgery. John is in a great deal of pain from the surgery and the tumor but the doctors are working on finding out what they can give him that won't cause too many side effects with the radiation & chemo. Thank you all for your continued prayers and fasting on John's behave. Every ounce of progress that is made I know is because of the prayers and fasting.

Update...
My brother had surgery today to remove the tumor but they weren't able to take it out. When the doctor got in there, the tumor was too big to take out. It's the size of a grapefruit. He is going to have to do chemo and radiation for the next month in hopes to reduce the size of the tumor so they can take it out. Thank you to all that have been praying for him. Please continue to do so as this is far from over.
