It's a "good" hurt

My roommate and I started training with a trainer this week and boy am I sore! I've worked out with a trainer before, but it's been awhile. My legs and arms have been killing me all week and I love it! I also signed up for the Pat Tillman run in April. It's only 4.2 miles but I am really hoping to run it a decent time. So far so good on my goal of being more healthy this year!

Happy Monday!

I had my first day of work with UOP today and it went great! I'm going to be a financial counselor and the best part is I'll be able to get a F R E E education! As much as it totally sucked to be layed off from my old job, I am so grateful that I was. These past 2 months I have been so much happier than I have been for the past couple of years. I am so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who knows what is best for me and who is always taking care of me. I am humbled by the wonderful, amazing, and supportive family and friends that are in my life. I feel so blessed to have been given this opportunity to better myself though this job.

Lazy days

So I start my new job on Monday and I can't wait! Although I have enjoyed my time off, I am ready to get back into working world. I have spent my days at the gym and watching more t.v. than I would like to admit. :) I am so excited for this new chapter in my life and all the possibilities that it brings. I am thinking about getting my degree in communications. Mainly because it won't take me very long to get it. But we will see, I may get a degree in communications and then get another one! The possibilities are endless and I love it!

I just heard from the University of Phoenix, and I got the job! I wanted to thank you all for all of your love, support, prayers and fasting on my behalf. I am humbled by the amazing friends and family that I have.

Next Step

So I had my interview today and it went great! I just heard back and was offered a second interview. I'm so excited!

2009 ... Already?!

I can't believe it's already 2009! I've had a great time spending the last 3 weeks in San Antonio! And I can't believe I haven't taken any pictures! Anyway, it's back to Phoenix and the real world on Wednesday. I'm hoping to have an interview on Thursday with the University of Phoenix, so please keep me in your prayers. My plan is to get hired with them so I can finish school. I hope everyone has had a great New Year so far. This is going to be my lucky year. I can just feel it!
